center;\">The Commune of St. Anton and the Tourist Board acquired the Villa Trier in 1972 to preserve it for future generations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In 1978, a museum of skiing and local history was established in the mansion\u2019s stylish and elegant interior, and ever since has been open to the public as a museum of St. Anton\u2019s past. Completed in 2008, a major facelift has re-energized the Ski &amp; Local Heritage Museum\u2019s exhibition spaces. Collections were reorganized for easier access, making it an even more attractive place to visit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Without contributions of time, money and historic artefacts, the St. Anton Museum would not exist. Founded in 2008, \u2018Friends &amp; Supporters\u2019 of the St. Anton Museum is a member supported non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the rich heritage of St. Anton. Since then, the organization has realized a number of special events, programs and exhibitions.
