FRIENDS & SUPPORTERS

The Commune of St. Anton and the Tourist Board acquired the Villa Trier in 1972 to preserve it for future generations.

In 1978, a museum of skiing and local history was established in the mansion’s stylish and elegant interior, and ever since has been open to the public as a museum of St. Anton’s past. Completed in 2008, a major facelift has re-energized the Ski & Local Heritage Museum’s exhibition spaces. Collections were reorganized for easier access, making it an even more attractive place to visit.

Without contributions of time, money and historic artefacts, the St. Anton Museum would not exist. Founded in 2008, ‘Friends & Supporters’ of the St. Anton Museum is a member supported non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the rich heritage of St. Anton. Since then, the organization has realized a number of special events, programs and exhibitions. We would like to thank ‘Friends & Supporters’ President Eva Alber and Coordinator Heinrich Wagner who generously support our museum by their valuable contributions to preserving the history of our village.
